WHAT WE DO
The Valley Children's Advocacy Center is a non-profit agency designed to reduce the trauma and advance the recovery of abused and neglected children. The Center provides a comfortable, private, child-friendly setting where abused children are interviewed by a trained forensic interviewer. These interviews are recorded for the purpose of assisting Law Enforcement and the Commonwealth's Attorney in the successful prosecution of child abuse cases.
We also provide immediate crisis intervention counseling to the victim, non-offending caregivers and siblings, and provide programs to enhance our community's understanding of child abuse and neglect. The Center is located in Staunton, Virginia. Valley Children's Advocacy Center Homepage: http://valleychildrenscenter.org/
